Aftermarket Ecu, better intercooling bigger injectors, better clutch, improve engine cooling, oil cooling etc etc etc... But before that better brakes and suspension to handle the power..

Go into more detail on what "chipped" means, what it includes and such.
What is a stage 1 turbo ?
How about some serious figures aye.....

Ignoring randomness, parts needed for 400awhp+ would be :
- Full Standalone ECU
- 850cc top feed injectors
- Top feed fuel rail in -8AN size
- Adjustable FPR
- 255L fuel pump or greater
- 264 degree cams with at least 9.8mm lift
- 1mm oversize valves (not 100% necessary)
- Shim under bucket at a minimum or shimless buckets if you have the money.
- Large front mount intercooler with water spray OR Toyota top mount water to air with water injection
- Turbo capable of at least 24psi upto redline
- Remove stock oil cooler, install oil filter relocation kit with a cooler
- Total cooling system renew : new thermostat, flush the block and possibly replace your radiator if its worn and old.
- Clutch and appropriate flywheel, nothing worse than being n00b and installing 6puk copper clutch on a stock flywheel.

This is assuming that your car is in 100% perfect condition and everything else is brand new, if not you also need basic things like new colder spark plugs, silicone ignition leads, new dizzy (cap, rotor, seals, open it, do internal seals) high flow foam air filter, catch can for PCV, remove exhaust restrictions like cat and mid pipe muffler, decent grounding kit if yours is old and crusty, engine and transmission mounts.....

As we move away from the engine things like gear box, transfer box and rear diff need to be in tip top condition with that much horsepower going though them, all the bushes need to be fresh, more power creates more vibrational resonance, and worn out bushes amplify this at certain RPM points. Other things like wheel bearings should be at least checked, new suspension and brakes to stop all this new power.

Don't be one of those ppl who spend every dollar they have on an engine build and has a s**t car for the engine to live in....

x10000000

There's no sense putting a brand new built motor into a car/body/drivetrain that cant even handle it.
