Private Messages

I have a forum question regarding Private Messages (PM). I've tried sending several PM's to a member, the system says they are sent, yet they appear in my "Outbox", not in my "Sent" folder.

Are they really being sent or are they not being sent? Why aren't messages that are sent going to my "Sent" folder instead of showing up in my "Outbox" folder?

I guess I don't know if my PM messages are being delivered, based on how the forum messaging system is acting.

Please help.

From my understanding it will sit in your outbox until the member logs in and gets the message, then it will move to sent.

Oh, I didn't know that. So its a form of letting the sender know that the receiver actually saw the message. I like that. Just didn't know previously that it worked that way. Thanks for the clarification.
