A few pics:
Whitney and I recently took our first trip North of Campbell River together.
Amazing scenery.
Great highway drive up once out of Nanaimo. Kinda like a Van. Island Autobahn, we made great time on the way to Port Hardy and Back. 3 hours each way!
Which meant a speed of 150-160 km/h the whole way. The trip was roughly 1000km, and with most of that spent non-stop at 4k rpm, it was a great shake down for my recently rebuilt car
On the way up:
Coal Harbour:
The Red & White Store
Port Alice: Was fun driving through all these small towns it the Four. Turned some heads.

Drive back from Port Alice to Main highway
Port Mcneil
I was hoping to check out Gold River and maybe even Winter Harbour (northern most town on the island) but the road to winterharbour was about 50 km of gravel - and it was getting dark out
