well i guess it make sense for him b/c he was kinda pushing the limits of that camerea it seemed. also i knwo he sold his reble to a friend that had been wanting one(helped him out) and didnt pay nearly 2k for the 20d. think it was only like a $300 upgrade for him. i may be wrong though

There's a lot of differences between the 20D and the Digital Rebel. Compare the two here:

Keep in mind you can flash the bios on the digital rebel to make it almost exactly a 10D. I say these things taking that bios flash into consideration. The stock stupidly-limited digital rebel lacks a number of useful features compared to the 10 and 20D.
