Enlarging the fuel rail in gen 2. Is it worth it?

You really get some benefit from enlarging the original Gen 2 fuel rail to 8mm.

Theoretically, the fuel flow increases, but in reality, the flow that comes from the fuel tank pipe is 6mm inside

Thanks and sorry for my english

The stock fuel rail can cause lean conditions on some cylinders if boost is increased. This was corrected in the gen 3 rail design. Enlarging the rail is a safety measure to protect the motor not a performance boost.
