HeatShield Question???

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this question, if not please remove it.

I was wondering if the 2nd gen(ST185) heatshield (piece of metal that covers the exhaust manifold) will fit 1st gen(ST165) engine?

i don't for sure know, but i doubt that it would because the turbo setup is different (the st185 has a dual-entry ct26, while the st165 has a single entry ct26). they really aren't that different, but they are different enough that i could see that being a problem. i'm sure that they could be modified to fit.

I recently had both heat shields in my possesion and they are definitely different on the side near the alternator. I could not say on the top one.
