Using a DSM turbo?

I was wondering if anybody has thought of using a DSM turbo say a big 16G or a EVO III turbo on a All-Trac the engines are damn near identical. I know you would need a custom manifold, charge piping and downpipe. The great thing about there turbos is they are small and light weight and can support good numbers and spool fast like the EVO III turbo has supported 405 awhp on a DSM before which I believe is an extreme I think most people are running between 300 and 375 with this turbo. I would love to have around 350 horsepower with a turbo that is lighter than the CT-26 and spools faster I dont mind the custom work to make it fit.
I just wanna know what you guys think of trying this. The turbos are cheap a brand new EVO III turbo is around 530 or so. Has anybody tried this before?

I have a 88 Celica All-Trac:
