throttle body size on st185

Postby shoobe100 » Sat Aug 14, 2004 1:57 am

I was wondering if the throttle bodies on st 165 are bigger then on st 185's. I was looking for interior diameter. I bought an intercooler that fit a st 185 and have beem working on fitting it to a st 165. My T/B appears to be bigger? Any help would be great. Drew

I thought they (ST165, ST185, ST185RC) are 55mm?
ST205 is 60mm.

the TB itself should be the same on ST165/ST185/ST185CS-RC (60mm). not sure about the ST205 at the moment.

The IC is different, so the TB connector is different too! ST165/ST185CS-RC have WTA IC's and the diameter of the piping is 60mm. ST185 with ATA IC has 55mm IC piping and ST205 WTA should have 70mm (not sure about ST205)!

If you need a fitting TB connector you can tell me your IC piping diameter which goes into the TB and I can get you one made from Alu with a Samco hose!
ST205 blue: completely stock
ST185CS (white): white - gravel/snow spec, dog box, TRD clutch, uprated turbo, lightened flywheel, uprated actuator, cold air intake, ST182 cams, walbro pump, batt relocation, forgies, programmable ECU (dyno), ...
