Ever wonder about the temperature of your compressed air?

Installed another gauge into my arsenal, the bottom display. A probe is installed about an inch from the inlet of the throttle body, on my top mount WTA inter-cooler. Outside temp was about 31degrees C. After only stopping at the light for about 15seconds, the temp jumps up 4degrees. A minute stop yields about 20-30 increase to about 60C. Amazing how fast the heat soak and dissipation happens. Think about that the next time you drag race away from a long stop.

Interesting stuff, how long did it take to drop back down from 60*C and at what kind of speed?
