st185 springs on st165?

st185 springs on st165?

I was just wondering if i could by springs meant for the st185 and put them on my st165 struts, they dont seem different to me, but i thoughtd i check it out

I recall that someone wanted to increase the ground clearance on their 165 and tried 185 springs... only to find that it actually lowered the car about an inch.

I don't remember if the post was on the old board or the new one. Maybe someone else remembers the details.

what about some aftermarket 185 springs? im guessing if the stock 185 springs work on the 165 then aftermarket 185 springs should work as well?

IF the stock ST185 springs lower ST165 by 1 inch,
aftermarket springs for st185 will even lower ST165 more.
