Imported Brake mess

Postby Empiremen » Fri Oct 31, 2014 3:42 am

It's more of a technical question more than anything else.

In a imported Celica St185, there's 2 set of brakes. 1st is the one from a st165 with a setup 2/1 and the other one is from a setup 1/1 from a Celica 1991.5.

I know that you can fit the front single piston caliper on a twin piston caliper setup (Like the st165) and install bigger rotor.

But for the rear, it's the same caliper. What is exactly the difference between the two except bigger rotor? The knuckle?

Thank you
