CXRacing CoilOvers

I have been shopping around for some coilovers for my 91 St185. I'm just curios if anyone has installed these? And what you guys think about them price wise compared to the BC Racing coilovers.

I've noticed a lot of you guys go with the BC Racing coilovers. but my car isn't going to be a track car. I just daily drive it and my original shocks and coils are worn out.

I've had a decent amount of experience with different cx racing parts on different vehicles. All different types of qualities. Some stuff great, some stuff not to great. But never coilovers. I'm also very interested in what someone with some experience with these thinks of them.

I'll probably order a set for my car on Monday and just see how they are. I've read a few reviews about these on Lexus and Bmw's (nothing on our cars of course) and good feedback for the most parts. When I get them installed ill let you know what I think.

Awesome! I look forward to hearing what you think!

Just got my Coilovers in. They look great and shipping was super fast. I'll hopefully get them installed in the next couple weeks and let you all know if they are worth the $621.

Finally got the coilovers adjusted just how I like them and my wheels don't rub. Still haven't driven the car much (just around the block so I know it wont rub). I need to get an alignment done but I want to change my rear arm bushing first. once I get that done ill have an update on how much I like these coilovers. As far as the adjustability and installation goes, I'm very happy with them. I did have to drill out the hole a little bit where the rear sway bar link goes in and bend the brake line holder on the coilover assembly just a little for them to fit perfect.

Let me first say that I'm no expert on coilovers or suspension. With that being said, for the price, I love them. I only drive this car a couple times a week to work so maybe 40 miles a week and they feel good enough for me. My stock assemblies were in horrible shape so really anything was a step up.

Had them for I don't know how many years, maybe 7 or 8. It's on my daily driver and they are still working perfectly. They survived a direct impact in a accident and they stayed on the car while it sat still for a couple of years. Only thing that broke is one of the dampers top adjuster, seized up, but I don't mess with the settings.

I only wished the damper had more travel.

Thanks for the update...my choice would be either the CX or the BC racing coilovers for when I resume my restoration. @alltrac801, what damper setting do you have them on at present?

So I didn't drive my car to work today so I dont remember for sure but I believe they have 16 clicks and I just set mine up right in the middle.
