brake line bracket & whiteline sway bar

Hey, I've installed a new whiteline rear sway bar and noticed it is smashing into the brake line bracket on my coilovers. I've done some searching around the site and it seems I'm not the only one with this issue. What are my options in fixing this? Cutting the stock bracket off and affixing the line in a different way, or just bending it over to avoid cutting it off? I have TEIN coilovers on my Celica.

Thanks,

Jaime

That's strange, I'd have to check to be sure but that looks like the same spot as on my BC coilovers and my stock once. I have the Whiteline bar as well though it's only on the middle setting. What height are your coilovers set to? Are you sure those rear swaybar links are the right length?

If you didn't remove the link from the shock for this photo, then that's your problem.

I am measuring 13.5" from the fender to the centre of the hub. I saw in your lifting thread that the stock was 14.25" so I am only .75" lower then stock.
Any of the other settings on the whiteline sway bar will push the bar closer to the brake line bracket, I believe the far left notch is the softest setting.

I believe the issue is the difference in design of the OEM to whiteline sway bar. At the end of the OEM bar there is a curve in the unit that allows it go around the brake bracket, the whiteline is straight so it sits lower.

Here is a photo of the car sitting on the ground with the clearance in the back, it is minimal.
