Replacing brake hose brackets on front struts

Since they only sell inserts for the front struts, I am stuck with rusty lowers. Now the brake hose bracket rusted out and is broken. Anybody replaced those? I guess I'll need to get them fabricated!?

You could get a new set of housings from a junkyard 5th gen? They all use the same one. Otherwise you'll need to do skmething custom.

Trying to find a rust free pair is tough. Saw one strut on Yahoo Auction Japan that was rust free... only one.

You talking about the bracket that bolts to the strut for the ABS and Brake line?

Try using car-part or Row52 to search wreckers out west, the strut housings will be in much better shape.

The one for the brake line.

I can't picture it. But if there is enough demand I can probably get them reproduced in some form of high strength plastic

The metal tab that sicks out the strut where the brake hose go trough. My hoses are held by tie-wraps.
