need help with rim and tire size

i dont know much about the whole sizing of rims and tires.
this is what im considering to buy:

5zigen Fn01r-c
Size: 17x8
ET: 35 (???????)
5x100

what size tires would be good for this? any recommendations on what kinda tires i should use?
thanks for any help i can get.

Genesis91,

I have the exact specs on my wheels. I am using 235/40/17 with no rubbing and 25mm spacers in the rear.
The car looks sweet with the guards filled

yes these wheels will fit. 225/40 17 are what i will be using on my 17 x 8's
