so a rc\cs ecu will be plug and play with my 1990 trac?

short answer: no.
compare the ecu pin outs: do a search!!!
open up a 1990 ecu and note it has single circuit board.
the 1991 onwards ecu's (late spec 185's & RC/CS etc) have 2 printed circuits boards including an external charge cooler control module. they are not interchangeable with your 1990 ecu unless you re-pin/ rewire !
The CS / RC also needs the matching larger sized AFM...
