Hey,
I have a 1990 Celica ST, with a 2nd gen 3SGTE swap from a 1992 Celica ST185 from Japan and an mr2 trans. It ran fan for a while and then I pushed it and the engine stopped. I have checked everything, I have fuel spark, air, compression, it was all fine. The car still won't run though and the only code it's gave me was a 51. But I replaced the TPS and I tried a new ecu. Any ideas?

It was an accident, Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. Wait till you ask for help.


My advice is to get a wiring diagram and trace each ecu wire with a multimeter and just follow the line, something may have simply broke or frayed and grounded out. Are you getting spart and fuel to all 4 cyls for sure?
