any idea how much one would cost? i put in the order at a service station today, but i got quoted on it before...200?! hmmm...

If you're refering to the switch on the gearbox that controls the reverse lights, it is about $32 list or $23 from www.1sttoyotaparts.com
I just had this replaced and was charged 15min of labor to install it (I was doing a head gasket at the same time however) Looks like all you have to remove is the intake piping since the switch sits right on top of the tranny.
Shouldn't cost anywhere near $200 even with labor.

hmm...well, my intake has basically switched with the battery, so my intake tract is straight, and the battery is about where the stock filter element would be...i so0o better not be charged that much... :shock:
