The st205 ECU can not be fooled by running resistors as people have shown in various diagrams, i have tried several different configurations, along with a few others on here.
If you convert a st205 to run a FMIC then there are other systems in place which allow the 'Resistors' to do there thing.

This im lead to believe works fine.
There are obviously 'Other' systems in place, on the st205, by means of relays etc that allow the 'resistor' mods to work.

iirc it should plug in with out having to swap any pins around, bewteen the celica and mr2.
You will need to have some way of controling the charge cooler pump though, maybe a 12v ignition feed direct to the pump?
