Does anybody know if the aerodynamics of the 88 Alltrac favor propping the rear of the hood up an inch ? I'm curious if the air pressure by the cowl is low enough to extract the heat. I've been looking for hood scoops, but with the soft lines of the car, it could be hard to find something that will be functional and look like it belongs there too.
I'm picking up a beautiful ST165 in a few weeks which the owner says experiences hard starting when it's hot. He suspects it's heat related. The car has a different air/water IC, MR2 twin scroll and 3" exhaust from DP back.
