ETA on fixing your alltracs: Oct18 pics/vids + plan nxt meet

We ran the Skyway in `07 and we would have run it again in `08, as that was the plan 'till Cannon's car went down.

I grew up on those roads, the Skyway even more so. Tellico Plains, the town at the other end of the Skyway is where I grew up. The Skyway was always known as Robbinsville road, and until the mid 90s, it was mostly gravel. I miss those days.

I love both roads equally, but the Skyway is consistently more fun IMO as it is must less heavily traveled, by leaflookers and LEOs.

Spring is on, we just need to nail a date down.

Glad you had fun, and I wish I hadn't had to work all night Friday, otherwise I would have been there.

Lots of cops there, but not so bad on the skyway, which is one reason I prefer the skyway.

On a note of brake, my brakes held up this time for the most part. Last time my car was at a meet, my fluid was very old and oem and when it got hot, I lost a lot of my braking. There was some fade as the runs went by, but I think I need a slight bit more clamping force in the front to make the most of these roads.

This happened the same day, I took it from another forum.

any of you guys hear about the blue focus that fell off the mountian on the 18th apparently some dirt mounds caught the car just off the road and took about 2 hours for a tow truck to get there and pull it out but apparently no damage.

as the focus was from florida and he drove it home on sunday...

Now we can start planing the next one. I would like to see another get together before the annual spring meet.

Once I get my car sorted I will send it off to paint, so I expect it to be at least 4weeks till I get my car back.

I guess we can see how the weather is this December.

If a mini meet does not happen, then we need to still be planning for the larger spring meet. I am expecting it to be the largest one yet.

I think I remember seeing that Focus up on the mountian. Man, did he ever get lucky.

We do need to start throwing out some potential dates for the spring meet. I think the early we get it set the better chance we have to get more folks to show up.

Once we have a firm date and start getting some response, maybe we can check with some of the hotel/motels to see if we can make a deal for a discount rate for a block of rooms. As far as dates go for me, I am good anytime after the first week of the month. First week is always financial closing and there isn't much chance of getting out of here.

We defintely need to get a date set so that everyone can start planning. It seemed like we picked a good date last year. The traffic wasn't too bad and there weren't that many LEO's.


How about either of the last two weekends of April.. 18th-19th or 25th-26th?

Either one of those dates work for me. I think the weather in late April will probably be better. Do we want to make a post and let everybody vote, both here and at Celicatech?

How many dates do we want to offer? From what I have read, and Murg or Josh could probably tell us better, if we get too far into May, we are going to run into more traffic and LEO's.

We can put the post up here and add another to the club events section linking to the poll. We should do the same over at Celicatech.

We need to find a calendar of the dates of meets planned for the dragon so we can plan around it. I know there is one somewhere.
