User cleanup coming, 1/1/10
We are going to delete anyone that does not have 5 posts, for the new year.
We will also be deleting anyone that has not signed in, in over a year.
That way we can keep the user count accurate.

If you delete someone who hasn't been on in over a year, will all of their previous posts be deleted from a thread as well?

i think i went for almost a year without any posts... i know other users who have gone quiet for a long time and came back...
there might be other "old" members that don't frequent as often but might have made valuable posts in the past... maybe up the threshold to 2,3 years?? [this is assuming that deleted user's posts also get deleted-- if not, then i guess it's not a big deal, esp. if accounts can be "re-activated"]
the less than 5 posts thing, i can agree with. those would be people signing up to sell something never to return again...

Keep it within a one year timeframe; if anyone comes back from the dead they can re-register, right?

Wow I just noticed that we are down near 2500 members, that cleanup cut the membership in half.
