Grand Turismo - Aussie ST185 - track day found the weakness
Re: Grand Turismo - Aussie ST185 - track day found the weakness
I'm not saying you can't. It's just u would have to switch the fuse box and that is lots of wires. So if you use the 185 loom it's just re pining and re pluging.
Be warned if you use the wta ic from the 205 u will be short a few wires from the ecu. I got around this was cutting the plug with the act and spd wires off and replacing it with the 205 plug this frees up some wires from the 185 for the 185. This is nesscary as the pins are different from 185 to 205 so if ya need extra pins for the intercooler u need to cut off a plug and re solder all wires. Does this make sense?

Aussie ST185
Okay, a lil update:
Have been working slowly, damn daily driver has had problems that need to be fixed so i had to divert funds there
. Bought myself a nice compressor and rattle gun that has made removing the engine a lot easier, especially the hub bolts, they wouldnt move at all with teh breaker bar. Engines still in the bay at the moment, need to get myself a engine stand and clear some room in the garage.

Re: Grand Turismo - Aussie ST185 - track day found the weakn
5 years later.....
Engine builder fucked me around for months and months, so i had to
to get money and some engine back. Anyway found a st215 engine and put her in, got it tuned and now having fun. So far its a happy ending
Expect for the paint. This year the clear coat decided to disappear, everywhere at once. Front bumper, roof, all leading edges basically. She's gone ugly.
