Motor Swap

Well, my 92 Celica GT"s motor apparently Seized the top end, and since it's my daily, I looked for, and found a replacement motor. Thing is it's from a 1990 Celica GT Liftback.

Is there any mechanical or electrical difference between the 1990 Celica GT and the 1992 Celica GT?

You will need to use your valve cover, intake manifold (rev 2 doesn't have cold start injector), fuel rail (rev 2 doesn't have cold start injector), alternator (different plug), and distributor (different on rev 2) if I remember all the items correctly. You won't need to switch the ignitor since you aren't swapping electronics.

Oh, that's good. The the head on the motor seized, so I won't worry about stripping it for parts. :D All the parts you listed are in good order. Or gonna be replaced as part of a tune up.
