90half trac Rebuild W/ ST215 FWD trans swap **PICS**

Alright so im doing a full rebuild on my 90 2gen 3s in my 90GT
BC of a horrible oil leak and tons of blow by.. so
i got a deal on a kit to swap in a 215 fwd trans swap that is LSD
now there is alot of debate if it is or not, i have spun it myself and wheels spin the same way.
the bar is visible thro the diff.. yet what caught my eye is my old S54 trans has a bar aswell
but tires spin opposite way.

so to make this work u need the trans of course but,
alltrac N-S Xmember
Alltrac outters and mr2 lsd inners (alltrac is needed bc of carrier bearing only matches to mr2 on pass side)
Alltrac shift cables
alltrac front motor mount
Alltrac clutch & flywheel still work

turbo re-build n upgraded.. "larger t04e compressor wheel of your choice (we recommend t04e 50 trim)
Upgrades also include machining the compressor housing and bearing housing to accept the larger compressor wheel.
We install larger 360 thrust bearing and stagger gap turbine side seal." <--as said by the shop..built by
performance techniques in SanBern, CA
also got is ceramic coated

How much power you hoping to squeeze out of the turbo ?
White exhaust valves arnt bad unless there is cracks or pitting.
Its usually just crud being burnt on/off while things are hot.

4of the exhaust valves were thin.. if u click the link u can
see my motor.
as for power im not to sure.
id want 300. it sounds good.. but if ill get there is another, i just want a fast/quick reliable DD

i already FMIC bar &plate, Walbro 255, straight intake, full exhaust & gutted cat, and MBC which i also wont touch till broken in.

CORRECTION... LSD INNERS are NOT required for these trans..

Purple power bath


so after tryin to put the trans on and it would sit flush
i figured out the i had put in the pilot bearing * NOT NEEDED*
I was a lil drunk, just use to using em. but i tried this method
wet shredded paper jamed into the cavity found bolt that fit
into the hole of the pilot bearing, tapped it in packin it. cont. to
shove more in. repeating till it started to move..

this bracket no longer work.. no threads in the trans
hole would be to big to match the bracket.
might drill the bracket to match or find a long enough nut/bolt combo

Was the shifter cable that hard to remove?

Not hard just annoyin pullin the dash and tryin to get in to the bolts. I couldnt imagine doin it w the eng in. Do to space.

Damnit then its going to suck for me, I was able to remove most of everything in the way inside the car but now I feel like I'm going to have a problem with the one on the firewall

I have done the cable swap with the motor in on my 90 celica. It was a bitch.

Looks good. but you should of removed the heat shield bolt before baking and painting the ex mani! I should get your seal Tuesday. I dont think toyota is going to be shipping parts tomorrow. ill ship it and the tvis delete after work tues!

I tore up my drill bits gettin the other one off the elbow.. I had some time today to bake so I just did it.. I wanna try to wrap the exhaust mani but idk how'd that work out. If it'll even bee worth it.. but hey hit me up.. my buddy wants to know what's up w u doin his heads.

got the engine in with pleanty of more pics to come! hopefully i can start her and drive it this weekend!
