Any upgrade with JDM front brakes compared to US (ST185)

Buddy of mine has a JDM GT-4 or 3 in his warehouse for part out, offered me a good bit of parts for a decent price, but are the brakes the same or is there any upgrade?

Better off going ST205 brakes

to my knowledge the only "strange" or "jdm" 185 brakes are literally 165 brakes. which suck. i think they only came on the late 89 - early 90. jdm only of course. other than that they are no different.

^ I think they used them on the lightweight "Rally" and "budget" GTFours as well, which I think were only sold at the start of production.

I wasn't sure but he offered both knuckles, hubs, brakes, ABS sensors, ABC plastic cover and other small parts for 300 bucks.... which to me is a steal seeing how much those abs sensors are new
