Temporary ABS Disable?

Hi all,

I want to keep ABS for street driving, but want to disable it when on the track.

Is it as simple as pulling the ABS fuse or cutting power to the ABS system?
When power is cut, do the brakes act like they would in a non-ABS equipped car?

Thanks :)

Any kind of fault in the ABS system should shut it off, I'd imagine having the fuse tied to a switch would do it.

Pulling the fuse should do it. Not an expert on most systems but I assume ABS systems are designed to allow the brakes to work when the ABS module is not. So, pulling the fuse should do it.

Ok thanks guys.
I just wanted to make sure pulling the fuse/power did the right thing.

Im actually going to wire in a ECU controlled relay to disable ABS when in "track-mode".
