Hello. I've been reading some of the rules, but, it got alittle cloudy to me. Has anyone raced in NASA series. I'll be stock. Have a lot of questions. Want to do the sand blast rally next year.

Well, My 1990 alltrac with jdm engine and ecu is stock, except for battery relocated in back and been working on aftermarket air filter placement. I believe this has to be returned to stock. And, the title is in my name, but, don't have insurance. I am planning on hauling car on trailer. What attire can I wear. If I need helmet, no problem. Oh yeah, I have a 3 inch down pipe, is this bad too? I got the factory cat. And what about adding boost and doing the fuel cut defender mod from the mr2 bible subject. Will it matter? Where or what kinda tire for the condition? I gotta get all struts replaced and center bearing for drive shaft. I'm pretty sure I will be by myself on this trip. Thanks, for now. P.S...Can I have a full exhaust system? not stock.

You're going to need a full NASA rally legal cage, FIA complaint fixed-back seat, 6 point harness, driving suit, HANS, Snell SA2010 or newer rated helmet. Don't forget your co-driver also has to the same in safety equipment

I kinda get the feeling you don't really know how much prep and money goes into a stage rally car, that's alright though, there are resources.

read up: http://www.nasarallysport.com/d734/Rally-University
then read the rule book beginning to end: http://www.nasarallysport.com/d734/rules

I think you are wrong. There's a solo class. All the stuff you talk about is group N class. Could be wrong. But...I seen on site the price to run solo. I'll find out. I can connect the nasa person here in n.
