question for Subaru conaisseurs...
i have thought of using WRX wiring harness so i can use my Cobb AP on my JDM ST185. the harness is cheap and i have the piggy back already. why not? i know the EJ20 has a trigger wheel that i have to adapt to... and what else?
if i go standalone, i will have to rewire anyway plus the cost of a stanalone is pretty high. and no, i wouldn't want to go MS3
your thoughts?

The EJ20 has cam and crank triggers, you'll need both - the ECU won't fire the coils or injectors without both signals. Also it is COP (if US model, not earlier JDM). Seems like a long way around to get where you are going... Saving money on the harness, etc. just to have to spend a bunch extra on custom triggers and/or wheels, etc.

Oh, i didn't know about the cam sensor. I was planing on installing COP if i were to use AEM ems, so i will need to install some wheel trigger anyway
