Alternate fitting of OEM mirrors and tweeters...





Unfortunately, as the tweeter covers attach to the inside of the OEM mirror housings, we will have to find a solution for attaching the tweeters when the Rallye Mirrors are mounted (most of the time)...

I love the attention to detail!
Everything is custom but looks like it could have come out of the factory like that!

It's been a while but work goes on... getting close to the finish line!

Uwe fitted the subwoofer in the rear side panel with a custom enclosure

Minor interior work...




Finished up the 'flat' trunk...










and mounted the carbon rain guards...




Then, it was time to take it in for the German TUV certification ...

when this happened....

...a few months back...



Burnt condensers!!!




and the replacement!




and all was well... UNTIL a few months later when the car was going through TUV 400 kms away...

I was wondering what happened with this car, it still looks as epic as ever. Any reason you went with an aftermarket ECU instead of repairing the CS one?

And the great build continues. I like how you handled the battery box. I'm still not sure what I will do with mine.

Icicle is going to have some power upgrades in the future so it made sense to switch over to a standalone ECU now for future targets.
