A/C lines

Which lines are you trying to replace? I have a 1990 ST185 and found out the only hose that was model specific was the discharge hose (88711-20720). The rest of the piping should be the same from models 1990-1991 (AT180, ST18#). I think there's a revision for 1992-1993 models but not quite sure on that. If you find a non-alltrac model at the wreckers you might be able to use most of the piping from it.

If you have an ST165, no idea on that.

I'm working with a 92 all Trac. Prior to me getting it, all the AC was removed. I'm nearing the end of the build and I want to get AC in it

I've seen a few cars running what appears to be purely soft lines in the engine bay, I'd imagine any local A/C shop could make the necessary lines to connect everything up.

Here are the AC hoses/pipes involving 92-93 ST185's, as far as what is shared with the 1992 ST185:

- 88703-20071: Hose Sub-Assy, Discharge: applies only to 92-93 ST185
- 88704-20121: Hose Sub-Assy, Suction: applies only to 92-93 ST185 & ST184 (not AT180)
- 88706-20061: Pipe Sub-Assy, Liquid: applies only to 92-93 ST185, ST184 & AT180
- 88707-20010: Pipe Sub-Assy, Suction: applies only to 90-93 ST815, ST184 & AT180
- 88711-20780: Hose, Cooler Refrigerant Discharge, No. 1: applies only to 92-93 ST185
- 88715-2B190: Hose, Cooler Refrigerant Suction, No. 1: applies only to 92-93 ST185 & ST184 (not At180)
- 88716-2B760: Pipe, Cooler Refrigerant Liquid, A: applies only to 90-93 ST185, ST184 & AT180
- 88716-2B750: Pipe, Cooler Refrigerant Liquid, B: applies only to 90-93 ST185, ST184 & AT180
- 88716-2B781: Pipe, Cooler Refrigerant Liquid, E: applies only to 92-93 ST185, ST184 & AT180
- 88717-2B060: Pipe, Cooler Refrigerant Suction, A: applies only to 90-93 ST185, ST184 & AT180

So the answer isn't simple. Easy to find those used on all 5th Gen Celicas, difficult for those used only on 92-93 ST185's, and moderately difficult for those in between.

I'd much rather have a soft line set up if possible because I have a very refinished engine bay design and id like to hide those lines as much as possible. I just don't know what kind of place to find to do make them for me.
