SOLD - Baller on a Budget BBK - Fits Alltrac & 1st Gen MR2

Postby ZeroDrift » Mon May 18, 2020 2:31 pm

Kit was just sold.

As the title states, I've a big brake kit that I purchased for my old ST165 that I've since sold. The kit will work on the first gen AW11 knuckles as these cars have the same spec on the caliper mounting points; however, I do not know of a rotor that will work for this car.

The kit was developed by a forum member and the original thread is located here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=48517

In either case, the kit has been fitted to both an ST165 and my AW11 for mock up purposes, but never used. I'm selling the front calipers which have been ceramic coated gold with a coating from Cerakote. The rear calipers I'm including as I've no longer a need for them. Would complement the front calipers for a complete set, but you'd need to make a bracket for them.

I'm asking $300 for the set shipped. Shipping is included if within the US.

Sort of - The original engine was salvaged and is partially merged together with a Gen 4 3sgte engine. The old block/head is now just a mock up block. I'm putting this engine into my Mk1 MR2 and am finally starting to make some progress on the project recently. Here is a vid of both engines and my MR2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWWbSbF ... 8cI-ij4ZWc

Yes - This is exactly what the calipers are from. 2001 - 2006 as I recall.

Yes - sold the shell to a guy locally here in Denver. I believe he swapped in a 1MZ V6 into the car. I believe he mentioned it fits with some clearance made on the engine crankcase and transfer case.

Thanks for posting this. I bought this kit awhile ago and could never find it's origin. Now I know it won't fit my 185 that well...I guess I have one for sale too!
