ST185 Midpipe Options in 2021
Hey all,
I've been trying to piece together a 3" exhaust for my ST185. I have the HKS catback, and the car came with some unknown downpipe. So I am just searching for a midpipe now.
I was searching through a bunch of older posts, but all of the links are dead now.
The only options I can find is this JKVK Racing pipe on Ebay. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-0-SS304-Catalytic-Converter-Delete-Midpipe-For-3S-GTE-Celica-GT4-ST205ST185/133263890056?hash=item1f07259688:g:rYwAAOSwY8td6qcA). Seems like its quality, but its also pretty expensive lol.
I wanted to go with Aussie-speed but the email on the website is no longer valid, so not sure if they are even making anything anymore.
If anybody knows any other good options please let me know! Thank you!!

Does anybody know if the mid pipe on my ebay link is a ST205 pipe by chance?
I saw a bunch of people having issues with this in the past.
Thanks!

If you don't have to have stainless, I bet a local exhaust / speed shop could build you a carbon steel one for not too terrible a price. The midpipe's the easiest thing on our cars to do. you'll need to have your downpipe on and take your catback in. If you're worried about rust, just give it a couple coats of high temp paint and it should last a long time.

Yeah it seems like nobody is making them now, I'll probably shop around a few local places and see if somebody will do it.

I don't think the ST205 pipe will fit on an ST185/165. The issue was the ST205 having an engine cradle where the ST185/165 have the two crossmembers. There used to be an eBay version for the ST185 but it was a whole exhaust kit, not just the mid pipe.

From memory a 205 midpipe doesn't fit a 185/165 and if it lists both then it's probably just a 205 pipe.

I built my own from mild / aluminized 3". Used a walker slip-fit joint for the connection to the rear part of exhaust.
