He isn't but I went and looked at that car.

It's pretty cool but a hodge podge of a project and at that price it shouldn't need as much maintenance as it does.

Neat! I can imagine a swap of that magnitude being pretty crazy. What type of maintenance did it need? What a cool project, though.

Hopefully the owner doesn't get pissed I write this out. Just my opinion

The stock Celica platform has 200k with stock suspension that needs to be replaced.

There is paint over spray from the caliper painting. It's pretty sloppy.

White paint job is pretty good but some areas could be cleaned up.

Leaking valve cover gasket and possibly another oil leak I couldn't find the source on

Power steering pump is puking fluid everywhere

Drive line for AWD is not straight so every bushing along that rear driveshaft is suspect

Rear differential is leaking

Low coolant that was green and not red

It has a fuel cell BTW

Engine itself is in great shape

Yeah amazing deal. I was scrambling my brain to try to figure out how to get it. I did pass the add on to a couple local guys but didn't hear back so probably not going to see it again. I thought it that rough of shape it might be up a little while but that was a stupid thought! lol You gotta be ready to pounce when these things come up and I wasn't. Someone knew what they wanted and got it good for them.
