I have an E150F I just pulled out of my 1990 ST185. Not exactly what you're looking for but I'm in Kelowna so fairly close if you can't find an E154F.
It ran fine other than a grind upshifting into second. I just took it apart and it does need a few things:
- No. 1 hub sleeve has some wear on the teeth - I believe this was the cause of the grind. Syncros themselves looked good.
- 3rd gear has some wear but not significant
- Sugar cube is extremely worn
- No speed sensor gear on the diff and no speed sensor
Not an ideal swap without some work but figured I'd mention it.
