I looked around for a general hobby/interest thread and didn't find one, so here we are.

How do you guys spend your time? Does anyone have any hobbies?

I forage a good bit. I love nature, but walks can get...boring so I started reading up on foraging and tracking and really got into it a couple of years back.

I'm a very poor tracker, but I'm getting better at foraging. I could survive off of prickly pears and pecans if I need to, but a little variety never hurt anyone so I've been focusing on wild herbs in my area. Wild onions grow like mad.

I've also been shooting crossbows for about a year. I have a bow, but for whatever reason really took to crossbows.

What are you guys doing in your down time?

Theoretically my other hobbies are hiking. I don't generally find it boring, but...seem to have a lack of places for a good outdoor walk/hike in Central Indiana. (99% of the trees having been removed in favor of endless acres of corn.)

I used to enjoy photography, but mainly landscapes, and I lost a bit of interest in that when I moved to Indiana.

Mostly spend time staring at the TV watching YouTube or other mindless streaming. Unfortunately.

Here are my primary hobbies

I scuba dive, fish, hunt and travel abroad a few times a year. I own a scuba dive shop here in Idaho that I do part time which allows me to take groups on dive trips around the world.
Where's your favorite spot to dive so far? I was in Bora Bora 6 years ago and ended up talking to an underwater welder who preferred Cozumel to French Polynesia for the diving. Just curious as to what people with more experience than me think.

I'm in to my alltrac (obvs), family life, travel, non-harley motorcycles, knife making, cooking, Arduino projects, bicycling, camping, a never ending list of welding projects, and occasional beer brewing and kayaking.
We don't have a lot of great nature here in the Midwest, but leaving it to go explore places like the Andes, SE Asia, United Kingdom has never been an issue for myself and my family.

I really want to drag my kayak and hammock up to the boundary waters this or next summer and disappear for a few weeks. That'll hop to the top of my alltrac/life balance.

Cozumel is probably my favorite as well followed by Bonaire then Roatan. Cozumel is an amazing reef with drift diving which is my cup of tea.

Aruba has been in my vacation long list for a while. I'll have to move it up! We normally hit a few places when we are out... Should be easy to add Roatan to the list. Thanks !
