Hi all, new to the forum.
I currently have a 2000 Volvo V70XC Turbo Wagon. While generally powerful and great in the snow, the thing is unfortunately living up to the name my Dad gave her - The Woelvo - full of Woe. Seems she's on my lift more than on the road with some sensor issue or another, always needing another expensive OEM part - she doesn't aftermarket.
I've been a Toyota guy for going on 40 years now (currently own - Rock crawler 4Runner with 385K miles, 98 Corolla 5 speed, 265K miles, 05 XRS - the real one - 150K miles - not to mention the Landcruiser I sold 3 years ago with 365K miles and the other various trucks and 4Runners that have moved on to new homes)
So, I've decided to replace the Flying Brick with a Reliable Brick (although the All Trac isn't that boxy), a brand I know inside and out, I know parts sources and generally are easier to work on.
I also know that both of these are fairly hard to find stateside. I'm in CT but through my business, AutoArcheologist (classic car broker), I know several shippers who can get me the car from anywhere.
If there are any out there, please let me know. I'd prefer a 5 speed, little or no rust, running, driving condition, interior in generally good condition, small dents, paint issues I can deal with easily enough. This will replace the Volvo as my company vehicle.
Thank you all!
